An adorable family, a picturesque setting, and perfect weather, what more could we ask for? The H family met me at this historic, unique bridge and park for their annual family photos and we had a wonderful evening together. We captured some beautiful portraits for them to cherish, as well as some casual images that show the connection and love between them.

This cutie pie 3 year old and his family joined me for my annual fall mini sessions. I was so excited that they signed up because I hadn't seen them in over a year back when we attended church together. I very clearly remember that little Ethan was a super sweet and well behaved little boy and he had not changed a bit! He was the most adorable little guy on this evening at Barrington Hall, he turned up the charm and grins 100%, and went along with ANYTHING we asked him to do. What a handsome little man! I know Alex and Jessica love having this little guy around and what a blessing he is! Here are a few of my favorites from our session! Enjoy!

I just love when everything works out for a family's portraits. This extended family scheduled a time for us to get together when their grandfather would be in town. With all the rain we've had lately it was a bit of a worry what kind of day we might get. But we had the most PERFECT sunny evening for their session, they were perfectly coordinated and the location was an excellent choice by them.

As I said in my Facebook sneak peek for them, this family had so much fun joking and laughing with one another during the evening. To me, this shows how much they appreciate one another and I hope that genuine happiness comes through in these images. I was so happy to see this family for Miss Avery's one year photos! We also got some updated family shots and some of their beautiful 3 year old Bailey who I photographed when she turned one. We braved the rain (who else is tired of all this rain that we've been having lately??) and the session turned out beautifully despite the less than ideal weather. Avery was as cute (and serious!) as she could be...I think I caught glimpses of some adorable dimples?? And Bailey is still as perfect as I remember her. This family is so blessed with these two beautiful sisters. Here are some of my favorites from our evening together!

Henry!!! You are the most adorable little boy with a gorgeous mommy and handsome daddy. I met this family at one of my favorite spots in Atlanta and we got some amazing images this evening...the perfectly coordinating wardrobe, a gorgeous family, and a happy little boy made for the most perfect session. I loved meeting the G family and so enjoyed getting to know them and photograph their little family this year. Enjoy these photos from our time together!

I was thrilled when Danyella and Wes contacted me about a newborn session for their new precious boy, Lucas. I can't ever say enough about how the specialness of newborn sessions. It's such a sweet and fleeting time in a family's life and I'm always so honored to be asked to capture the makeup of a new family.

We had such a wonderful afternoon together, baby Lucas was as sweet as he could be and I loved getting to chat with his mom and dad during our breaks. I've known Danyella and her family for several years and they are such great people. I've met Wes a couple times so enjoyed this chance to get to know him and Danyella as a couple. They are already such great parents, Lucas is so lucky to have them!

Thank you so much, M family, for inviting me to photograph your beautiful newborn baby boy and new family of three:) I wish you nights full of sleep and days full of joy! You have so many fun times ahead of you with sweet Lucas.

I just wrapped up an amazing course over at Clickin Moms- Mastering Natural Light Indoors. This is one that I have continually heard about and has been on my wishlist of courses since joining CM. The timing of this course was perfect, especially one in which I could work on indoor shooting while it's cold outside!

This class did not disappoint. It challenged me and in the process grew my understanding of light, how it behaves, and how to utilize different types of light and light sources in my images. I'm excited about continuing to use all that I've learned in my indoor photography of both Jack and my clients.

I was thrilled to hear from my college sorority sister, Emily, when she asked me to do her beautiful Bailey's one year session. On my way to meet them, I thought about how I hadn't seen her in almost 9 years! How is that possible?? I can't believe I've been out of college for that long. It sure has gone by fast.

We had the best time on this evening at a Roswell Park. It was great to catch up with Bailey and meet Derek. Love this little family. And Bailey was just as cute as she could possibly be. I so enjoyed being her photographer:)
