Miss Olivia is a brand new addition to my friend Beth’s life. I met Beth through work in the Cardiac ICU. When she asked me to photograph Olivia’s first days, I was beyond thrilled. We had the best afternoon together and I loved getting to snuggle and capture this precious one’s brand new-ness. Thank you Beth! Olivia is so lucky to have you as a mom and the two of you will make the sweetest team in life. All my love ~ Rebecca:)
newborn loveliness | tuscaloosa newborn photographer
I met this sweet family at their home on a beautiful fall morning to photograph their most precious new addition. We did a few baby images on a beautiful animal fur blanket that speaks to what they love. Then we moved on to some family images, as well as some with the family pup! And then closed out the morning with some remaining sweet baby poses. Little miss Laney was the sweetest and most cooperative. And I had the best time getting to know her parents and hearing all about their travels and life between ttown and out west. This is truly a special family! Thank you M & C for inviting me to capture your newest love! I’m looking forward to keeping up with you all and watching this most special new adventure in your lives! Cheers ~ Rebecca:)
atlanta fall family of 3 | tuscaloosa portrait photographer
I met this lovely family of 3 in atlanta. They are neighbors of some of my most favorite clients. We met at Lullwater Park on an evening that we were worried about rain but it ended up being beautiful! Their adorable little boy insisted on wearing his rain boots and I love that mom and dad were so chill about allowing him to do so. The L family moved to atlanta not too long ago and are thriving. Mom is a pediatrician and we had so much fun talking about the medical world. She gave me some great advice and I hope I gave her photographic memories to cherish:). Thank you, L family for asking me to photograph your family this fall! Enjoy a few of my favorites from our evening together. Cheers~

It was such a special time as she was born just before Christmas so we were able to get some amazing Christmas Tree and lights images. I'm in love with these images. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together. Cheers~
my favorite atlanta triplets | tuscaloosa family photographer
One of my very favorite families <3. I have been coming back to atlanta for the last 2 years to photograph this amazing crew. I first met them at their triplet baptism and we got along so well. They are fantastic. If we still lived in atlanta, we would definitely hang out often! I'm always so thrilled to hear from them and honored that they ask me to travel to georgia to do a photo session their family. This evening was so much fun. We had a great time catching up and they were (as always) so easy to photograph. Thank you, D family, for trusting me with your images once again. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together! Cheers~
perfect fall family session in alabama | tuscaloosa child photographer
I met this perfect family at Capitol Park in downtown Tuscaloosa on a beautiful fall evening. We couldn't have asked for better weather and lighting. The cutie pie older boy is in the same preschool class as my youngest and they LOVE each other! And the precious baby chunk is just too adorable. We had so much fun and I'm in love with the images we captured. My most favorite is the one of mom and her baby love <3. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together! Cheers~
family of 4 | tuscaloosa family photographer
This family is so special to me! Delaune and I were sorority sisters and had the same major at Samford University. I always loved her so when we decided to move to Tuscaloosa, she was the first person I reached out to for advice about the town. We knew John from Samford as well and now he's my dentist. They have the cutest little boys, Morrow and Landry, who were both so perfect for our session.
We met at Capitol Park in downtown Tuscaloosa. It's one of my favorites for family sessions because there is green space and architecture for some variety. We got some adorable Christmas card images and then a lot of beautiful images of the family in their matching light blue clothes with perfect lighting.
Thank you for asking me to photograph your family, Delaune and John! Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together. Cheers~
angelic baby girl ~ tuscaloosa newborn photographer
Thrilled is an understatement when describing my emotions after being asked to travel to Atlanta for this family's baby girl newborn session. The H family is very special to me. Their youngest son went to the same preschool as my Jack and mom worked out with me at Iron Tribe Johns Creek. We were connected by a mutual friend when I first photographed them in the fall of 2015. Then Natalia and I continued to get to know one another as we worked out together often.
When I heard from Natalia that they were expecting a BABY GIRL to complete their family, I was beyond excited and especially so since she wanted me to come to Atlanta to do sweet baby's newborn photographs. I love any excuse to go back "home" to Atlanta:).
Baby Sofia was one of the most beautiful little angelic girls that I have ever photographed. It was so perfect that her momma had angel wings ready for this session! Big brothers Jacob and Andrew were so proud of little sister and mom and dad were glowing with joy. I LOVED the feminine dress that Natalia chose to wear and had so much fun photographing her in it with her baby girl <3. Our day together was fantastic and I hope you enjoy looking through a few of my favorite images from our time together!

Baby Ollie has my heart<3
This precious family invited me to their home to photograph their newest addition and I am overwhelmed with love for all of them. You know how you just meet certain people and immediately connect with them? Yeah, that was this family.
I arrived at their beautiful tuscaloosa farm home and and immediately loved them. We had an incredible morning together and the images show how much this family loves one another. Later our 6 year old boys ended up on the same baseball team and I got to know and love them even more! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites of our newborn session!<3
golden hour + family of 4 | tuscaloosa family photographer
I met this family at Capitol Park in downtown Tuscaloosa (one of my favorite spots) for their portrait session. Mom is another of my favorite UA nursing professors. SO SMART and has encouraged me and taught me so much in my time as a student. I absolutely loved meeting her husband and children on this summer evening. The golden hour light and the outfits and the adorable family just make me drool <3 Enjoy my favorties from our evening together!
mom and two beautiful daughters | tuscaloosa child photographer
For those of you that do not know me personally, I have embarked on the journey to become a nurse. This session is incredibly special because mom was one of my very first nursing school professors. After meeting her, I immediately loved and respected her for her personality and intelligence. I spent a semester in one of her courses and then was lucky enough to placed in her clinical group in the subsequent semester. The knowledge she passed on to our small group and the attention that she gave us is incomparable. I will forever be grateful for all that I learned under her guidance!
Dr. K and her sweet Katherine and Charlotte met me at Sokol Park on a Friday afternoon in May. We had so much fun and I loved how photogenic all 3 of these girls were. Enjoy looking through a few of my favorite images from our time together! <3
fall family photos ~ family of four | birmingham family photographer
ohmigoodness, I can't say enough about how exciting it was to photograph this family of our dear friends. We became close friends with dad, Daniel, through our high school church youth group. Then, we all went to Samford University where Daniel met his soul mate, Kristen. We all instantly loved Kristen and I was SO happy to be reunited with them for a photo session!
I am honored that all of my clients choose me but when a friend chooses me, it's hard to put into words the meaning of that decision. This family of four was so much fun to be with and a joy to photograph. Daniel and Kristen's children are so respectful and enjoyable to be around. I best time on this evening together. We will see each other socially very soon and I can't wait! For now, enjoy a few of my favorites from our evening together! Cheers~
autumn sibling photos | tuscaloosa child photographer
I'm so happy that one of my first photography clients was our realtor! Jennifer Hamner had incredible guidance as she helped us look for our new home in Tuscaloosa. She gave us all the needed information and tips to find the best spot to live. We can't recommend her highly enough!
When Jen contacted me about a session for her children I was beside myself excited. Her kids exemplified her caring and mature nature and were wonderful to photograph. Campbell and Bo were so sweet and when I brought my boys to the session were incredibly kind and inclusive of them as well!
Enjoy my favorites of our evening together! Roll Tide!
family of five ~ fall photography session | birmingham family photographer
One of the tragedies of leaving Atlanta was leaving this family who JUST moved into town a few short months before we left. Mom, Sarah, was my ZTA sorority sister at Samford University in Birmingham and someone I respected, loved, and truly enjoyed being around. We reconnected when they came to town and she even asked me to photograph their newest addition! Sarah is someone that you can go months (years in our case!) without seeing but pick up right where you left off. She is a gem of a friend.
On our trip to Atlanta this weekend, we scheduled a photo session for these fantastic people. Becca, Brooks, and Hannah are the most adorable little siblings you have ever seen. I am amazed at how calm mom and dad are with so many little ones and how they parent and love them with such grace that I admire. I hope these images portray the love and affection this family shares. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our afternoon at their home...
darling newborn baby girl | northport newborn photographer
Little miss Rosalie was one of the most beautiful baby girls I have ever photographed. I met her family in the afternoon one Saturday at their home. Their home near Lake Berkeley had the best views and we found many gorgeous spots with natural light for family images.
Mom and Dad were so kind and I loved watching them gush over their new little love. Mom and I even figured out that we both grew up in the same hometown, always fun to compare notes on growing up!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images of this sweet family...
the s family | tuscaloosa family photographer
I have known this sweet family since their oldest was only two years old! We know each other from church and I was even able to visit both little sister and little brother in the hospital after they were born. That always gives me a special bond with a family and baby.
I was thrilled when they call and invited me to capture them inside and around their newly built home. Their kind spirits overflow whenever you are around them and this evening was no different. We had the best time together. Enjoy a few of my favorites!
