forever love | birmingham engagement photographer
Shay is one of my best friends and I could not be happier for her. She found her true love and it is the sweetest story. I met Shay while working in COVID ICU in Tuscaloosa and we immediately hit it off. Now, 4 years later we’re still good friends! I was thrilled to do her and Darius’s engagement photos one Sunday afternoon in Birmingham.
Isn’t she stunning!? And Darius is so sweet to her. Nothing makes me happier that seeing my friends treated well.
Thank you for making the trip of to Birmingham friends! I can’t wait for the wedding celebration in February!! <3 Rebecca

I’m extremely proud of this beautiful high school senior! Mackenzie and her family have been friends of mine since 2007, when she was just 18 months old! I can’t believe how much time has passed and I’m so impressed with the young woman she has become. I know her mom, my friend Kim, is so proud as well and I was honored to make a trip back to Atlanta to do her senior portraits! I can’t wait to see where you end up next year, Mackenzie! Your future is so bright! All the best ~ Rebecca <3
college senior | birmingham UAB graduate photographer
I met this lovely lady while working on the Heart Transplant ICU at UAB. She was our amazing unit secretary on night shift. You would never believe she’s a college student- wise and mature beyond her years. An inspiration, a joy to be around, and a loyal friend. I’m so proud of her for accomplishing this task of graduating from UAB AND working full time (sometimes more!) while she studied! Did I mention she’s super smart as well??
KieKie, you are going to go far in life and influence many people. Thank you for asking me to take your UAB graduation photos! I had the best time and you looked STUNNING! Congratulations, can’t wait to see what your future holds! ~Cheers! Rebecca <3

Miss Olivia is a brand new addition to my friend Beth’s life. I met Beth through work in the Cardiac ICU. When she asked me to photograph Olivia’s first days, I was beyond thrilled. We had the best afternoon together and I loved getting to snuggle and capture this precious one’s brand new-ness. Thank you Beth! Olivia is so lucky to have you as a mom and the two of you will make the sweetest team in life. All my love ~ Rebecca:)
newborn loveliness | tuscaloosa newborn photographer
I met this sweet family at their home on a beautiful fall morning to photograph their most precious new addition. We did a few baby images on a beautiful animal fur blanket that speaks to what they love. Then we moved on to some family images, as well as some with the family pup! And then closed out the morning with some remaining sweet baby poses. Little miss Laney was the sweetest and most cooperative. And I had the best time getting to know her parents and hearing all about their travels and life between ttown and out west. This is truly a special family! Thank you M & C for inviting me to capture your newest love! I’m looking forward to keeping up with you all and watching this most special new adventure in your lives! Cheers ~ Rebecca:)
handsome newborn | tuscaloosa newborn photographer
1st born newborn boys have a special place for me <3. I love being with these families in these early days because they remind me of my own first days with my jack. This morning with kason and his mom and dad was no different. The love they share for each other and their new baby boy is obvious and I hope that it’s conveyed in these images. Here are a few of my favorite images from our day together. Enjoy all the sweetness! Cheers ~ Rebecca:)
beautiful girls | tuscaloosa family photographer
My beautiful best friend, asked me to photograph her and her equally gorgeous daughters for their yearly photos and Christmas card image this year. It was such and honor to capture people that I love so much! Mom picked out a stunning red dress for herself and matching sequined dresses for her daughters. Everyone had hair and makeup done to a “T”, the girls said they felt so fancy! I love how these turned out so elegant and our location just added to the rustic but beautiful fall feel. Enjoy these images of our time together! And thank you, Hannah, for allowing me to photograph you and your precious girls! Love you all! Cheers ~ Rebecca:)
atlanta fall family of 3 | tuscaloosa portrait photographer
I met this lovely family of 3 in atlanta. They are neighbors of some of my most favorite clients. We met at Lullwater Park on an evening that we were worried about rain but it ended up being beautiful! Their adorable little boy insisted on wearing his rain boots and I love that mom and dad were so chill about allowing him to do so. The L family moved to atlanta not too long ago and are thriving. Mom is a pediatrician and we had so much fun talking about the medical world. She gave me some great advice and I hope I gave her photographic memories to cherish:). Thank you, L family for asking me to photograph your family this fall! Enjoy a few of my favorites from our evening together. Cheers~
winter beach | tuscaloosa children’s photographer
Who knew the beach in winter would be as relaxing as the beach in summer?? Well, we are huge fans now. Low crowds, cool weather, but still the ability to enjoy plenty of time outside and along the beach! The water may be too cold to enjoy but we found plenty of fun while we were there in December. We had lots of good family time and the boys loved our little vacation with grandparents. Lots of fun was had by all:). Enjoy some of my personal favorites from our week at Panama City Beach, Seaside, and Alys Beach. Cheers ~ Rebecca:)

my favorite atlanta triplets | tuscaloosa family photographer
One of my very favorite families <3. I have been coming back to atlanta for the last 2 years to photograph this amazing crew. I first met them at their triplet baptism and we got along so well. They are fantastic. If we still lived in atlanta, we would definitely hang out often! I'm always so thrilled to hear from them and honored that they ask me to travel to georgia to do a photo session their family. This evening was so much fun. We had a great time catching up and they were (as always) so easy to photograph. Thank you, D family, for trusting me with your images once again. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together! perfect fall family session in alabama | tuscaloosa child photographer
I met this perfect family at Capitol Park in downtown Tuscaloosa on a beautiful fall evening. We couldn't have asked for better weather and lighting. The cutie pie older boy is in the same preschool class as my youngest and they LOVE each other! And the precious baby chunk is just too adorable. We had so much fun and I'm in love with the images we captured. My most favorite is the one of mom and her baby love <3. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together! Cheers~
family of 4 | tuscaloosa family photographer
This family is so special to me! Delaune and I were sorority sisters and had the same major at Samford University. I always loved her so when we decided to move to Tuscaloosa, she was the first person I reached out to for advice about the town. We knew John from Samford as well and now he's my dentist. They have the cutest little boys, Morrow and Landry, who were both so perfect for our session.
We met at Capitol Park in downtown Tuscaloosa. It's one of my favorites for family sessions because there is green space and architecture for some variety. We got some adorable Christmas card images and then a lot of beautiful images of the family in their matching light blue clothes with perfect lighting.
Thank you for asking me to photograph your family, Delaune and John! Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together. Cheers~
angelic baby girl ~ tuscaloosa newborn photographer
Thrilled is an understatement when describing my emotions after being asked to travel to Atlanta for this family's baby girl newborn session. The H family is very special to me. Their youngest son went to the same preschool as my Jack and mom worked out with me at Iron Tribe Johns Creek. We were connected by a mutual friend when I first photographed them in the fall of 2015. Then Natalia and I continued to get to know one another as we worked out together often.
When I heard from Natalia that they were expecting a BABY GIRL to complete their family, I was beyond excited and especially so since she wanted me to come to Atlanta to do sweet baby's newborn photographs. I love any excuse to go back "home" to Atlanta:).
Baby Sofia was one of the most beautiful little angelic girls that I have ever photographed. It was so perfect that her momma had angel wings ready for this session! Big brothers Jacob and Andrew were so proud of little sister and mom and dad were glowing with joy. I LOVED the feminine dress that Natalia chose to wear and had so much fun photographing her in it with her baby girl <3. Our day together was fantastic and I hope you enjoy looking through a few of my favorite images from our time together!
7 day old baby brother | tuscaloosa newborn photographer
Baby Ollie has my heart<3
This precious family invited me to their home to photograph their newest addition and I am overwhelmed with love for all of them. You know how you just meet certain people and immediately connect with them? Yeah, that was this family.
I arrived at their beautiful tuscaloosa farm home and and immediately loved them. We had an incredible morning together and the images show how much this family loves one another. Later our 6 year old boys ended up on the same baseball team and I got to know and love them even more! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites of our newborn session!<3
golden hour + family of 4 | tuscaloosa family photographer
I met this family at Capitol Park in downtown Tuscaloosa (one of my favorite spots) for their portrait session. Mom is another of my favorite UA nursing professors. SO SMART and has encouraged me and taught me so much in my time as a student. I absolutely loved meeting her husband and children on this summer evening. The golden hour light and the outfits and the adorable family just make me drool <3 Enjoy my favorties from our evening together!
brother love | tuscaloosa child photographer
A perfectly sunny evening in Tuscaloosa allowed time for me to capture a few images of my own boys on The Quad, in front of Denny Chimes, and the President's Mansion. I managed to sneak in enough of 2-year-old brother, but big brother was a dream and completely cooperated for these images! Nothing makes me more excited. I can't wait to print some of these and get them on our walls!
baby sister makes 5 | tuscaloosa newborn photographer
This beautiful family welcomed baby sister to make their family of 5 even more perfect. I was honored to photograph them at their gorgeous farm home one afternoon and LOVE how these images turned out. Mom, known to us as Mrs. Leslie, was Jack's preschool teacher this first year that we lived in Tuscaloosa. We were so nervous about moving to a new town and new schools but when I met Leslie at the beginning of the year, I knew we were in a great place and Jack would be in good hands. I was right and Leslie was the BEST that my Jack could have possible had for his last year of pre-K before elementary school. We adore her and are so thankful for the care and knowledge she gave him throughout this year.
I met brand new baby, Magnolia Emeline, whom they are calling Emeline on this June afternoon and she was GORGEOUS. But what else could you expect with this family?? Older siblings Sawyer and Mary Ella were so proud and so much fun to photograph. Their personalities are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. And as you can see in the images, Mom and Dad are beaming with pride over their children.
Leslie wore a gown from my maternity collection that are all always available to my moms...either for maternity, newborn, or even family sessions!
Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together <3
female business headshot | tuscaloosa professional photographer
Always a special session when I have the opportunity to photograph those that are closest to me. For this one, I did some updated head shots for my beautiful sister, Caroline! She is currently living in Cambodia and working for the Centre For Peace & Conflict Studies. Some very impressive work is going on there that she is very passionate about and you should check it out when you have time.
We went down to the Quad on the University of Alabama campus, as well as the President's Mansion for her headshots. I love this area for both family and professional work as the light and backdrop is just beautiful! Enjoy a few of my favorites from her session and Roll Tide!<3
